Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Güner Tarancı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tore-Andre Flø, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Tore-Andre Flø came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tore-Andre Flø couldn't finish the play. When C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Tore-Andre Flø in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tore-Andre Flø might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güner Tarancı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tore-Andre Flø ran back to his position shaking his head. Güner Tarancı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore-Andre Flø in the 25th minute of play. Tore-Andre Flø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 29 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Iyan. After 33 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Eray Özgurcan. In the 37thth minute of the game Tore-Andre Flø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gençlerbirliği's Güner Tarancı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes, Tore-Andre Flø made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gençlerbirliği's Güner Tarancı tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Normando to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Eray Özgurcan. 59 minutes into the game, Tore-Andre Flø recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Güner Tarancı. Tore-Andre Flø showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Arnoldo Chaime shot from long distance in the 63rd minute, but Güner Tarancı was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Gençlerbirliği's Güner Tarancı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gençlerbirliği from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Chaime was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gençlerbirliği the free kick. In the 71st minute, Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Vachon, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tore-Andre Flø struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Güner Tarancı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.U.E. DE COMERCIO. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği's zone, Tore-Andre Flø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güner Tarancı came out of the goal and Tore-Andre Flø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gençlerbirliği's Güner Tarancı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Gençlerbirliği from getting a goal against them. If Tore-Andre Flø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Güner Tarancı made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Tore-Andre Flø sent off a good shot on target. Güner Tarancı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tore-Andre Flø in the 92nd minute of the match. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO played a much better game than Gençlerbirliği and deserved their victory. The Gençlerbirliği players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
