Patricio Salazano charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Salazano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oylimpiamos Ψ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evis Rafecas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıfkı Tanpınar in the 18th minute of the match. Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hibai Luna in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Hibai Luna came free, but Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gençlerbirliği getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Şenol Saatçioğlu hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Hibai Luna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hibai Luna during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santi Villafranca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz made a huge save. Oylimpiamos Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pudes Bachiller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santi Villafranca got free with Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hibai Luna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ahmet Hayri Eryilmaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Oylimpiamos Ψ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gençlerbirliği.
