Çağrı Genişyürek started the match with the kick off. When Albert Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arye Suryoye's protests and gave Albert Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Albert Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Metin Yaltırak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alexander Björnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Kjell Ros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafer Hekimoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Kjell Ros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafer Hekimoğlu having to interfere. G . S A R A Y were furious when Hazım Tanır was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in G . S A R A Y fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Arye Suryoye. Alexander Wenerdahl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cafer Hekimoğlu. 1-2. Cafer Hekimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Ros, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes G . S A R A Y got a freekick which was hit by Çağrı Genişyürek. When Ahmet Ege Topçay came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the G . S A R A Y fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Ege Topçay couldn't finish the play. Metin Yaltırak hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Kjell Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paşa Ali Tanyıldız hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Arye Suryoye were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kjell Ros struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cafer Hekimoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arye Suryoye. Arye Suryoye's Alexander Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ege Topçay in the 60th minute of play. Alexander Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paşa Ali Tanyıldız, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 77 minutes G . S A R A Y's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexander Wenerdahl who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ian Lundgren managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ian Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. G . S A R A Y's Cafer Hekimoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save G . S A R A Y from getting a goal against them. After 81 played minutes Arye Suryoye got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Wenerdahl. Metin Yaltırak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Morgan Emander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arye Suryoye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G . S A R A Y the free kick. The supporters of G . S A R A Y booed when Arye Suryoye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Emander didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joacim Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, G . S A R A Y's goalkeeper Cafer Hekimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Lundgren. Ahmet Ege Topçay's late challenge caught a Arye Suryoye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ege Topçay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Ahmet Ege Topçay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the game, Arye Suryoye's Kjell Ros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafer Hekimoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Arye Suryoye's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
