Eriberto Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Gernando Bittencourt made a huge save. Cido Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Matías Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Viana came free, but Cido Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Reinaldo Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Vila Industrial FC's Gernando Bittencourt got control of the ball when Laerte Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vila Industrial FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

The wind increased when Eriberto Godoi made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Eriberto Godoi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vila Industrial FC's Gernando Bittencourt. Gernando Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Industrial FC's Matías Botelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cido Schmidt. That made the score 1-3 after 59 minutes of play. Matías Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cido Schmidt made a huge save. Matías Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cido Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Amílton Terra got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Botelho got free with Cido Schmidt in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laerte Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gernando Bittencourt having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Freire in the 81st minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper Gernando Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Raúl Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C.CHUÍ's supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Botelho got free with Cido Schmidt in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Matías Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vila Industrial FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
