An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Poncio in the 7th minute of play forced Adab FC's goalkeeper Nouredine Mimoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Fenix's Damian Quintun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nouredine Mimoun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes, Cosme Elizardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Fenix and the Adab FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Elizardo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Fabio Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Ahmed in the 21st minute of play. Nouredine Mimoun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Quintun in the 23rd minute. Nouredine Mimoun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Cosme Elizardo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. The supporters of Adab FC booed when Club Atletico Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Adab FC got a freekick which was hit by Chaba Larbi. The audience was convinced that Abd al-Asis Lacen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Herauso was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Poncio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nouredine Mimoun saved Adab FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abd al-Asis Hemdani in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Ivan Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nouredine Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abd al-Asis Lacen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ivan Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Club Atletico Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Poncio couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd play minute Abd al-Asis Lacen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabio Herauso. 2-1. Adab FC's Hamid Macias was substituted for Chaba Larbi. Adab FC's Noureddine Derrida was substituted for Leon Benhamou. When Celso Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Fenix's protests and gave Celso Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. Abd al-Asis Lacen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fabio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adab FC's Hamid Macias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leopoldo Abarca in the 68 minute of the game. If Damian Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Adab FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Poncio came free, but Nouredine Mimoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Fenix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Abd al-Asis Hemdani scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Herauso, making the score, 2-2. Abd al-Asis Lacen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fabio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Damian Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Club Atletico Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Hitz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Adab FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Hamid Macias hit a great ball. Abd al-Asis Hemdani received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Herauso came out and tried to block the shot, but Abd al-Asis Hemdani slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Adab FC's Abd al-Asis Lacen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Herauso. That made the score 2-4 after 94 minutes of play. The Club Atletico Fenix fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Adab FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
