An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Bittencourt in the 29th minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Fabio Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Fenix's Chiquinho Porto threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivan Poncio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chiquinho Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbson Bittencourt to strike the kick off in the second half. Chiquinho Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Matías Botelhos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Fabio Herauso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Vila Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
