After 8 minutes, Štefan Martin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the V.K.DRINK Hermanovce and the Hendek Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Štefan Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match it was 1-0 when Cemalettin Okbaş shot a long shot which zipped by V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's goalkeeper at the right pole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Dubinský in the 12th minute of play forced Hendek Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Poyraz Tümerkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poyraz Tümerkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Dubinský, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Michal Hanuščak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The V.K.DRINK Hermanovce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Daniel Vengloš made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doğan Ozaner in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Richard Bodnár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Dubinský in the 40th minute of play. Poyraz Tümerkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Hanuščak in the 42nd minute of the match. Poyraz Tümerkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Hanuščak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Richard Bodnár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Poyraz Tümerkan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Dubinský stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Mário Dubinský slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Poyraz Tümerkan. That made the score 1-5 after 53 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Bodnár in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Poyraz Tümerkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, Hendek Spor Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yıldırım Ongunalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Štefan Martin to maneuver through the defense. Mário Dubinský took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Poyraz Tümerkan. Poyraz Tümerkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Doğan Ozaner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Vengloš read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Ünal Yatuk was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd minute, Ünal Yatuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğan Ozaner in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Vengloš prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gencalp Öktem kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Emil Dani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Poyraz Tümerkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Michal Hanuščak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Poyraz Tümerkan. That made the score 1-7 in the 87 minute of play. When the match was over V.K.DRINK Hermanovce could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hendek Spor Kulübü throughout the match.
