After 7 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Víglundur von der Schulenburg. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Andrei Vârjean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Vengloš didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Halipa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when V.K.DRINK Hermanovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Ruďák didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Dubinský came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gigel Rânceanu could save by the left post. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu got control of the ball when Michal Hanuščak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Richard Bodnár scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Rânceanu, making the score, 1-1. After 35 played minutes V.K.DRINK Hermanovce got a freekick which was hit by Michal Hanuščak. In the 38th minute Richard Bodnár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Bodnár came free, but Gigel Rânceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Bodnár in the 53rd minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Liviu Mușătescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Vengloš. Liviu Mușătescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Mugurel Răduț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Daniel Vengloš made a huge save. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Bodnár in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Richard Bodnár had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Rânceanu. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Bodnár was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gigel Rânceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Bodnár in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Michal Hanuščak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Rânceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 76 minutes into the game, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Michal Hanuščak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Rânceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. With a little luck, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's Daniel Vengloš got control of the ball when Aurel Halipa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to V.K.DRINK Hermanovce getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Peter Zmoraj hit a great ball. If Andrei Vârjean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Vengloš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Mușătescu in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Matúš Kráľ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Halipa.
