Adam de Reyck came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Anselmo Meira. But to his dismay, Anselmo Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 16 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Meira came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herald Dujardin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Vilaverde made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Meira came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam de Reyck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Menezes in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam de Reyck saved Olavarria FC from getting behind. Adam de Reyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Anselmo Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam de Reyck. Olavarria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Adam de Reyck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Filipe Ventura hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Adam de Reyck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nélson Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Castro to make the kick off. Anselmo Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Adam de Reyck made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Tiago Menezes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adam de Reyck, 1-6. In the 60th minute Anselmo Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam de Reyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Castro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam de Reyck. Olavarria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Anselmo Meira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam de Reyck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. 88 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nélson Trindade came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Meira came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Humberto Castro took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Adam de Reyck to make any attempt to save it. VB-Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
