An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Castro in the 28th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Bernard Bense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Bense made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Aprígio Eanes sent off a good shot on target. Jari Litmanen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Castro in the 45th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Bernard Bense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as VB-Team's Humberto Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernard Bense. That made the score 6-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Humberto Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bernard Bense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Humberto Castro put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernard Bense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aprígio Eanes in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernard Bense saved Springplank FC from getting behind. In the 89th minute Humberto Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Bense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Bense came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Nélson Trindade. But to his dismay, Nélson Trindade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Bernard Bense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Eanes in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Castro in the 95th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Bernard Bense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Nélson Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nélson Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 99thth minute of the game Humberto Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springplank FC's Bernard Bense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. VB-Team had played much better football throughout.
