In the 9th minute Anselmo Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Castro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nélson Trindade in the 13th minute of play forced G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cleiton Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Reynaldo do Nascimento got a free kick in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Aprígio Eanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cleiton Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleiton Queiroz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Aprígio Eanes. But to his dismay, Aprígio Eanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cleiton Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Meira in the 28th minute of play. Cleiton Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Nélson Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Humberto Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleiton Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Eanes came free, but Cleiton Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Cleiton Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Castro in the 44th minute of play. Anselmo Meira struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cleiton Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. 46 minutes into the game, Dito de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. VB-Team made a substitution. Rafael Matos replaced Nélson Trindade. The supporters of VB-Team booed when G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Humberto Castro scored to the left of an out of position Cleiton Queiroz, making the score, 0-4. Aprígio Eanes in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cleiton Queiroz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Tiago Menezes took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Cleiton Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Meira came free, but Cleiton Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Vilaverde having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Aprígio Eanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleiton Queiroz. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aprígio Eanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Anselmo Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Cleiton Queiroz made a huge save. With an all-out effort, VB-Team's Cleiton Queiroz threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Humberto Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edu Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Vilaverde having to interfere. The supporters of VB-Team booed when G.E. Juventus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleiton Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Castro in the 81st minute of the match. Osvaldo Vilaverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Reynaldo do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Cleiton Queiroz managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when VB-Team's Aprígio Eanes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as VB-Team's Humberto Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cleiton Queiroz. That made the score 0-7 after 85 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Castro came free, but Cleiton Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Dito de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dito de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VB-Team's performance. The match ended with a win for VB-Team.
