The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Therkild Prendorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Nahia Sierra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Cosoreanu. UFC STEAUA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nahia Sierra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee gave UFC STEAUA a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. After a rather tough play, Los Colegas del Barrio's Josepe Mangas got a free kick in the 30th minute. A hard shot by Corneliu Hurezeanu from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Marco Gonzalez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Therkild Prendorf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Marco Gonzalez made a huge save. Pelayo Vazquez struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Felix Cosoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Colegas del Barrio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nahia Sierra in the 40th managed to get into a good position. In the 82nd match minute, UFC STEAUA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Gheorghe to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 90 in the game by Nahia Sierra from a close distance when the talented Felix Cosoreanu managed to make a qualified save. UFC STEAUA's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pelayo Vazquez during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pelayo Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Los Colegas del Barrio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
