Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harold Reynders started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Olavarria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herald Dujardin to maneuver through the defense. Adam de Reyck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Therkild Prendorf's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Gâlcă came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Herald Dujardin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olavarria FC's protests and gave Herald Dujardin a yellow card for diving instead. Herald Dujardin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Therkild Prendorf came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UFC STEAUA were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Olavarria FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernest Obreja took the corner. Matei Gâlcă made a great header on UFC STEAUA's corner, it was just that Olavarria FC's Adam de Reyck managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 36 in the game by Therkild Prendorf from a close distance when the talented Adam de Reyck managed to make a qualified save. Olavarria FC's players were relieved. Noel Moerman kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Olavarria FC's Adam de Reyck got control of the ball when Therkild Prendorf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Therkild Prendorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of UFC STEAUA booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephen Camps didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Therkild Prendorf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Therkild Prendorf in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam de Reyck saved Olavarria FC from getting behind. Adam de Reyck came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by UFC STEAUA's Therkild Prendorf. But to his dismay, Therkild Prendorf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Herald Dujardin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Felix Cosoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam de Reyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Therkild Prendorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Therkild Prendorf came free, but Adam de Reyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Therkild Prendorf in the 76th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Adam de Reyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Therkild Prendorf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam de Reyck. Olavarria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Therkild Prendorf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Stephen Camps hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Therkild Prendorf put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adam de Reyck. 89 minutes into the game, UFC STEAUA's Therkild Prendorf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam de Reyck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Therkild Prendorf in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam de Reyck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olavarria FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UFC STEAUA.
