When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eutropio Harroyo sped through Olavarria FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam de Reyck. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nahia Sierra sped through Olavarria FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam de Reyck. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harold Reynders in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Gonzalez saved Los Colegas del Barrio from getting behind. Los Colegas del Barrio's Leo Dorado suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 38th minute, Stephen Camps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harold Reynders was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Eutropio Harroyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam de Reyck was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Bitxintxo Etxeberria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam de Reyck. Olavarria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bitxintxo Etxeberria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Olavarria FC's Bert Vercruysse got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Adam de Reyck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bitxintxo Etxeberria, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes Olavarria FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josepe Mangas who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Olavarria FC's goalie and right to Bitxintxo Etxeberria. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Olavarria FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Stephen Camps was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Adam de Reyck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutropio Harroyo in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Los Colegas del Barrio getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eutropio Harroyo hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Eutropio Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam de Reyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Klopterop's late challenge caught a Los Colegas del Barrio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Klopterop helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutropio Harroyo in the 95th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Adam de Reyck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Los Colegas del Barrio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
