Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gencalp Öktem started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencalp Öktem in the 5th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencalp Öktem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Vârjean in the 12th minute of play forced Hendek Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Poyraz Tümerkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ünal Yatuk kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With 16 minutes on the clock, Yıldırım Ongunalp commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 16th minute, one of Hendek Spor Kulübü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hendek Spor Kulübü. The goalkeeper, Poyraz Tümerkan, was totally fooled by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 30 minutes into the match, Andrei Vârjean notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan. Poyraz Tümerkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Halipa came free, but Poyraz Tümerkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendek Spor Kulübü's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Víglundur von der Schulenburg scored to the left of an out of position Poyraz Tümerkan, making the score, 5-0. 44 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Poyraz Tümerkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurel Halipa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

52 minutes into the match, Liviu Mușătescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Poyraz Tümerkan. Hendek Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liviu Mușătescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Vârjean in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Halipa came free, but Poyraz Tümerkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Andrei Vârjean notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan. Poyraz Tümerkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Poyraz Tümerkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Halipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Poyraz Tümerkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Halipa went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Hendek Spor Kulübü's Poyraz Tümerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Halipa in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Vârjean came free, but Poyraz Tümerkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fotbal Club Vaslui walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
