The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Peppe Mascara was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Supremacy Catania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peppe Mascara to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Biagio Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Juroszek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
