Eduardo Barral hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. IGUIPORÃ FC's attentive Eduardo Barral managed to snatch the ball when Frank Magliocco made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's Cacá Paulista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Proia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Elivélton Cerezo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fortunato Proia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Frank Magliocco made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carlo Cirulli immediately put the ball in play. In the 28th match minute, IGUIPORÃ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Félix to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, one of Cesate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute, Eraldo Di Matteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesate were furious when Fausto Donato was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fausto Donato hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Elivélton Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fortunato Proia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IGUIPORÃ FC. Alfredo Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Cirulli in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demetrio Borrelli was the one to do the kick off. Eugênio Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Guga Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Proia having to interfere. Cacá Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. Guilherme Seco replaced Elivélton Cerezo. In the 72nd minute Gilson Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. IGUIPORÃ FC's Alfredo Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Di Matteo in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Cacá Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Jardel Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IGUIPORÃ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cesate the free kick. A collision led to IGUIPORÃ FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jardel Félix hit a great ball. Alfredo Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Di Marco in the 82nd minute of play. When Benjamim Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IGUIPORÃ FC's protests and gave Benjamim Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cesate booed when IGUIPORÃ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Adriano Di Marco in the 88th minute really tested Alfredo Paes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. IGUIPORÃ FC's Eugênio Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Ennio Grasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IGUIPORÃ FC the free kick. Ennio Grasso kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Guedes in the 96th minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Fortunato Proia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cesate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
