The supporters of Möhnsen FC booed when Red Bull Magnus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Arndt Heil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal and Arndt Heil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Möhnsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Schenk to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Möhnsen FC's Arndt Heil got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Peer Hafner came free, but Aloísio Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Peer Hafner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermann Althaus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Red Bull Magnus getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Falcão Antunes hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Peer Hafner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peer Hafner got free with Aloísio Guimarães in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Antoine Griezmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Althaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Möhnsen FC's Mo Canel got a free kick in the 61st minute. Möhnsen FC's Hermann Althaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Rosado in the 66th minute of play. Peer Hafner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Möhnsen FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Red Bull Magnus.
