After 5 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Schenk. Gilson Guedes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Hermann Althaus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cacá Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hermann Althaus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Xerxes Kamper ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Paes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerxes Kamper in the 19th minute of play forced IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, IGUIPORÃ FC's Cacá Paulista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Hermann Althaus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Félix went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gilson Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Althaus having to interfere. Jardel Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilson Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Möhnsen FC's goalkeeper Hermann Althaus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hermann Althaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Guedes in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Eduardo Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Althaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, IGUIPORÃ FC's Jardel Félix seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jardel Félix the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of IGUIPORÃ FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jardel Félix had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to IGUIPORÃ FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jardel Félix hit a great ball. Alfredo Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudi Georgii in the 61st minute of the match. Peer Hafner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alfredo Paes made a huge save. IGUIPORÃ FC's Alfredo Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save IGUIPORÃ FC from getting a goal against them. Guga Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hermann Althaus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. Guilherme Seco replaced Elivélton Cerezo. A collision led to Möhnsen FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rudi Georgii hit a great ball. Alfredo Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Kamper in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, IGUIPORÃ FC's Alfredo Paes got control of the ball when Peer Hafner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arndt Heil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
