With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ---Atam Osmanlı--- getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Baba Osmanlı hit a great ball. Aguinhas's Vitório Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aguinhas! 16 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Anelka came free, but Guto Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ---Atam Osmanlı--- defense, Vitório Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceyhun Mennan. The ---Atam Osmanlı--- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceyhun Mennan should have stopped the shot. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 41 minutes into the game, one of Aguinhas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guto Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Anelka in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Cléberson Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceyhun Mennan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
