Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peer Hafner got the match started through his kick off. Xerxes Kamper might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Proia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xerxes Kamper ran back to his position shaking his head. Mo Canel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cesate's Adriano Di Marco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Möhnsen FC. After 11 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Peer Hafner. In the 12th minute Ennio Grasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Bogs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Bogs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Grasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dieter Popp kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Peer Hafner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Proia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Neidlein in the 32nd minute of the match. Möhnsen FC's Konrad Bogs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Magliocco in the 36th minute of play. Peer Hafner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fortunato Proia made a huge save. Fortunato Proia was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Kurt Romberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kurt Romberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Borrelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Borrelli got free with Konrad Bogs in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peer Hafner in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Proia saved Cesate from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Möhnsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arndt Heil to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Möhnsen FC's Peer Hafner got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Hermes. Fortunato Proia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peer Hafner in the 66th minute of play. Bernardo Di Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Konrad Bogs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesate's Fortunato Proia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arndt Heil in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Bernardo Di Marco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konrad Bogs. The goal made the score 2-2. Fortunato Proia came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Möhnsen FC's Xerxes Kamper. But to his dismay, Xerxes Kamper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 83 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Arndt Heil came free, but Fortunato Proia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Peer Hafner came free, but Fortunato Proia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswald Binkert charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswald Binkert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cesate booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswald Binkert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Adriano Di Marco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cesate's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Di Marco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konrad Bogs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortunato Proia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peer Hafner, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Möhnsen FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cesate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
