The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güral Vecih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Deniz Çalkın came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Tarkan Enfal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedê de Senna in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilla Tarkan Enfal saved Samsunspor from getting behind. Korkut Dirican charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korkut Dirican the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Korkut Dirican hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Samsunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korkut Dirican to maneuver through the defense. If Abdülhak Zeynelabidin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dedê de Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilla Tarkan Enfal was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
