Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Malcolm Neal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Joaquin Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Wong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico got control of the ball when Carson Sherrill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Wong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Phelipe's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Zamalek FC's Ricardo Wong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Opilano in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Daren Starnes. 14 minutes into the game, Eddie Pelletier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zamalek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Club the free kick. In the 14th minute, Eddie Pelletier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Neal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Joaquin Phelipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ricardo Wong came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Club's Joaquin Phelipe. But to his dismay, Joaquin Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 40 minutes into the game, Academia Club's Joaquin Phelipe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Wong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ricardo Wong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zamalek FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academia Club were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquin Phelipe made a kick off. Joaquin Phelipe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Ricardo Wong 53 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Neal came free, but Aureliano Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Malcolm Neal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Neal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Mark's late challenge caught a Zamalek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Mark helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Bonifacio Mark got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Joaquin Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florencio Opilano took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Wong. Ricardo Wong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Academia Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Jerano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Phelipe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Wong made a huge save. Remigio Jerano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Tuan Glover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Wong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Phelipe's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Academia Club's Florencio Opilano made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Wong was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Academia Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zamalek FC throughout the match.
