In the 19th match minute, Björnlunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Åberg to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Eduardo Rossi, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rickard Dalström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê de Senna in the 37th minute of the match. Rickard Dalström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Björnlunda IF defense, Hílton Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rickard Dalström. The Björnlunda IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rickard Dalström should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê de Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when Björnlunda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Åhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Rickard Dalström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Rickard Dalström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dedê de Senna in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rickard Dalström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andreas Åhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Raí Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvid Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The 27 de Mayo fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when 27 de Mayo's Dedê de Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rickard Dalström came out of the goal and Dedê de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björnlunda IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Hjortsberg in the 80th minute. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Åberg in the 82nd minute of play. Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Åhlberg went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Rickard Dalström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rickard Dalström made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in 27 de Mayo's zone, Andreas Åhlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Bertassi came out of the goal and Andreas Åhlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over 27 de Mayo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Björnlunda IF throughout the match.
