Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dedê de Senna got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lloyd Warren came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lloyd Warren couldn't finish the play. If Malcolm Neal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes 27 de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Paulista. Ricardo Wong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 8 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Otto Ciauri. Carson Sherrill struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Raí Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Cardoso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Wong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Dedê de Senna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Adhemar Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 27 de Mayo and the Zamalek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adhemar Furlan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Lloyd Warren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lloyd Warren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê de Senna got free with Ricardo Wong in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Neal in the 41st minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Neal to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Malcolm Neal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zamalek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 27 de Mayo the free kick. In the 53rd minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Wong showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Hílton Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedê de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ricardo Wong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Dedê de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Wong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Hílton Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. 27 de Mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Wong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes, Otto Ciauri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zamalek FC and the 27 de Mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Otto Ciauri hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedê de Senna in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Carlos Eduardo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Dedê de Senna made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zamalek FC's Ricardo Wong tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 de Mayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
