Spectators: 7628 (Terracing: 5722, Seating: 1754, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Primitivo Duarte got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Mancio came free, but Gianluigi Ogazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Mancio in the 6th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Gianluigi Ogazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Bernardino Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Mancio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Ogazon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardino Mancio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Independiente's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 19th minute, Bruno Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Independiente's Primitivo Duarte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute, Bernardino Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ordono to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Duarte shot from long distance after 31 played minutes, a shot that Gianluigi Ogazon with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Primitivo Duarte sped through Darkness's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gianluigi Ogazon. Salvador Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gabriel Pacorro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Pacorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabriel Pacorro hit a great ball. Gianluigi Ogazon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Armando Macias made the kick off in the second half. Gianluigi Ogazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Mancio in the 51st minute of the match. Bruno Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gabriel Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Marino. Manuel Henry was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Independiente's Primitivo Duarte in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darkness's goalie prevented a goal. Gianluigi Ogazon came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Ciro Txatxu. But to his dismay, Ciro Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Severino Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Macias in the 71st minute. Darkness's Bruno Medero got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Independiente's Severino Herena got control of the ball when Gabriel Pacorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Honorato Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
