After having played for 4 minutes, Ralf Wennerqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Tallkotte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Wennerqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Zachrisson was a little too slow when Edelmiro Hartz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. When IFK Tallkotte's Staffan Ekström in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute, Fidel Camerino made a precise shot to the right of John Zachrisson. IFK Tallkotte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Rossobianco's Edelmiro Hartz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Zachrisson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabricio Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. John Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Hartz to make the kick off. John Zachrisson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Camerino in the 55th minute of play. John Zachrisson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Hartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IFK Tallkotte were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Rossobianco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Hydén took the corner. The corner led IFK Tallkotte's Michael Hydén to fire away a dangerous shot which Tang Cheng Zhen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Johan Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tang Cheng Zhen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Tony Gabrielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Aimar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Zachrisson. IFK Tallkotte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Edelmiro Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossobianco's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Zachrisson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to IFK Tallkotte getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Åke Sjögren hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, IFK Tallkotte's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Aimar came free, but John Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Wennerqvist in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tang Cheng Zhen saved Rossobianco from getting behind. Tang Cheng Zhen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Staffan Ekström went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to IFK Tallkotte getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Michael Hydén hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Hartz in the 89th minute of play forced IFK Tallkotte's goalkeeper John Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Gauargi charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Gauargi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
