The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tihomir Nachevski helped the player get up and apologised. Tihomir Nachevski hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Vaklin Kortov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bergkamp came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Arne Sjöö during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Worst Team Ever's Carl Viklund got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Tomislav Radlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Worst Team Ever got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Berg. In the 90th minute Isaias Eguerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaklin Kortov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Lindqvist scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaklin Kortov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. József Murai kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Бенковски Тетевен players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
