Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaias Eguerdi kicked off to start the match. In the 17th match minute, Worst Team Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Eguerdi in the 22nd minute of play forced Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Célio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Luan Trigo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ingvar Colin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Célio Rezende. Célio Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ingvar Colin put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Célio Rezende. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Colin in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Célio Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Célio Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. József Murai hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Roman Pavlyuchenko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. That made the score 1-2 after 39 minutes of play. Roman Pavlyuchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Worst Team Ever's Aaron Lindqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Célio Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ingvar Colin took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Célio Rezende. Célio Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After the first half Worst Team Ever were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

56 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Eguerdi came free, but Célio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Colin in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Worst Team Ever's Olle Vennersten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Célio Rezende. That made the score 2-5 after 63 minutes of play. In the 67th minute Isaias Eguerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Worst Team Ever's Carl Viklund got a free kick in the 69th minute. Roman Pavlyuchenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Célio Rezende made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ingvar Colin sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Célio Rezende got control of the ball when Ingvar Colin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pinheiros Capibaras FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Norbert Glembin hit a great ball. Isaias Eguerdi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Célio Rezende came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaias Eguerdi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 77th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Pavlyuchenko in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Pinheiros Capibaras FC got a corner. Worst Team Ever's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roman Pavlyuchenko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Célio Rezende made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Olle Vennersten sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Célio Rezende got control of the ball when Ingvar Colin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Aaron Lindqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Célio Rezende was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Célio Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Pinheiros Capibaras FC from getting a goal against them. Aaron Lindqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Célio Rezende made a huge save. Worst Team Ever's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
