The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alphonse Mathevet hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sylvain Chiffoleau hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sacha Amara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ground Control's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacha Amara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasper Rijniers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josselin Portet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Vlimmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Fouet got free with Kasper Rijniers in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josselin Portet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Vlimmens, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ground Control's Josselin Portet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Raeymakers in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wouter Tielemans during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Wouter Tielemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ground Control's attentive Sofiane Donnat managed to snatch the ball when Fernand Melkval made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Vlimmens was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Dominic Vlimmens from a close distance when the talented Josselin Portet managed to make a qualified save. Ground Control's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorne Vits got free with Josselin Portet in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Ewan Cuvier in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Forza Heppenbach's Wouter Tielemans. 74 minutes into the match, Dominic Vlimmens notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ground Control's Josselin Portet. Josselin Portet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kasper Rijniers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacha Amara in the 78th minute of the match. Dominic Vlimmens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forza Heppenbach's attentive Wouter Tielemans managed to snatch the ball when Marvin Ripoche made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Dominic Vlimmens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josselin Portet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 90 minutes into the match, Sacha Amara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasper Rijniers. Forza Heppenbach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sacha Amara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Sacha Amara took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasper Rijniers. Kasper Rijniers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
