Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Stefaan Van Hoyveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Thierry Fouet made a precise shot to the right of Freek Van Hoyvelt. SK Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marvin Ripoche hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Thierry Fouet came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ground Control fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thierry Fouet couldn't finish the play. Ground Control's Josselin Portet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ground Control from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Chiffoleau. SK Gullegem's Freek Van Hoyvelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Fouet in the 31st minute of play. Josselin Portet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Verhaeghen in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Stefaan Van Hoyveldt got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Fouet in the 47th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Freek Van Hoyvelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Michael Verhaeghen made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Sacha Amara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freek Van Hoyvelt. Sacha Amara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 57 minutes into the match, Michael Verhaeghen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josselin Portet. Ground Control's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Verhaeghen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Edmond Walder got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 67 played minutes, SK Gullegem's Michael Verhaeghen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josselin Portet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Gullegem reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Ground Control's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Jamieson came free, but Josselin Portet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Sacha Amara came free, but Freek Van Hoyvelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Ground Control's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Verhaeghen came free, but Josselin Portet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sacha Amara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thierry Fouet took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freek Van Hoyvelt. Freek Van Hoyvelt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Thierry Fouet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Freek Van Hoyvelt made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sacha Amara in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freek Van Hoyvelt saved SK Gullegem from getting behind. Freek Van Hoyvelt came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ground Control's Thierry Fouet. But to his dismay, Thierry Fouet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Freek Van Hoyvelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacha Amara in the 88th minute of play. Freek Van Hoyvelt made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Thierry Fouet sent off a good shot on target. Ground Control's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
