After having played for 14 minutes, Dominic Vlimmens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forza Heppenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Vlimmens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, SK Gullegem's Edmond Walder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasper Rijniers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Forza Heppenbach's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Jamieson came free, but Kasper Rijniers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Verhaeghen took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasper Rijniers. Kasper Rijniers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 30th minute, Guust de Pelsmaekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Jamieson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Michael Verhaeghen scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasper Rijniers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Jamieson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Michael Verhaeghen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Rijniers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Theo Jamieson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Theo Jamieson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Forza Heppenbach booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasper Rijniers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Wouter Tielemans hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominic Vlimmens made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Michael Verhaeghen got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Vlimmens in the 60th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Freek Van Hoyvelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Marco Jamieson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasper Rijniers. Forza Heppenbach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Jamieson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. If Marco Jamieson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Jamieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Rijniers having to interfere. If Stefaan Van Hoyveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Forza Heppenbach's Kasper Rijniers got control of the ball when Marco Jamieson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Forza Heppenbach's Guust de Pelsmaekers got a free kick in the 76th minute. Wouter Tielemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freek Van Hoyvelt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Vlimmens in the 80th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Freek Van Hoyvelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SK Gullegem defense, Dominic Vlimmens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freek Van Hoyvelt. The SK Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freek Van Hoyvelt should have stopped the shot. Kasper Rijniers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Verhaeghen in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Ward Raeymakers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Freek Van Hoyvelt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SK Gullegem had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
