In the 11th minute, Thierry Fouet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josselin Portet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Japola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ground Control defense, Fryderyk Jeziorkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josselin Portet. The Ground Control fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josselin Portet should have stopped the shot. After 24 minutes of play, FC Krasnosielc's Ksawery Japola made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josselin Portet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maciej Budrewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thierry Fouet went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Josselin Portet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Rutecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ground Control's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ground Control's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
