Spectators: 7546 (Terracing: 5661, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Michael Verhaeghen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Marco Jamieson got a free kick in the 4th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Michael Verhaeghen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Marco Jamieson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cemil Torgay. Los Valientes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Jamieson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt hit a great ball. Cemil Torgay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Jamieson in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Los Valientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhun Bozoğluer to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marco Jamieson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cemil Torgay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Michael Verhaeghen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cemil Torgay was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cemil Torgay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Verhaeghen's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Marco Jamieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemil Torgay having to interfere. The supporters of Los Valientes booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Verhaeghen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute SK Gullegem were awarded a corner. Michael Verhaeghen went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Jamieson in the 86th minute of play forced Los Valientes's goalkeeper Cemil Torgay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Los Valientes's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Jamieson came free, but Cemil Torgay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that SK Gullegem were the better team. SK Gullegem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
