After a defensive mix-up in La Tribuna Tambien Juega's zone, Ulu Özkutsal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Bieito came out of the goal and Ulu Özkutsal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Şefik Balcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Lobo in the 69th minute of the match. Oğuzalp Baştürk kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mehmet Şefik Balcan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mauricio Txerran. Mehmet Şefik Balcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Ignazio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Newells Old Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Tribuna Tambien Juega were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
