Amos Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Şandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marius Encioiu suffered a concussion after 13 minutes and had to leave the field. Fabio Ippoliti charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Ippoliti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fc S.Zaharesti made a substitution. Mugur Cucerdean replaced Marius Encioiu. In the 15th minute, Fabio Ippoliti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Flavio Marra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc S.Zaharesti the free kick. After 16 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Marra. After 17 played minutes, Fc S.Zaharesti's Dan Potoroacă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amos Rosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc S.Zaharesti reached it. 21 minutes into the match, Alvise Giannetta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Noica. Fc S.Zaharesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvise Giannetta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Fc S.Zaharesti from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Curuțiu. Alvise Giannetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Noica having to interfere. Fabio Ippoliti hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Marcel Noica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Zulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amos Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Cucerdean, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mugur Cucerdean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Rosa having to interfere. AC Milan's Amos Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Cucerdean in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Zulli to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Fulvio Zulli sped through Fc S.Zaharesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Noica. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Zulli in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, AC Milan's Fulvio Zulli made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Noica was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Marra to maneuver through the defense. AC Milan's Amos Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Cucerdean in the 82nd minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Amos Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Potoroacă was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc S.Zaharesti's players had a chance to rest. Viorel Lelescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Viorel Lelescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Giannetta came free, but Marcel Noica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Fabio Ippoliti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Giannetta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc S.Zaharesti's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
