A well placed Clemente Teles short distance shot in the 3rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Roger de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes, Diego da Cunha made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Pedro Luís Porto. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Clemente Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luiz Fernando Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Frank dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Corinthians Paulista's protests and gave Frank dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Frank dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Melo in the 24th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clemente Teles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 30th minute Diego da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Roger Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luiz Fernando Figueiredo got control of the ball when Clemente Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34th play minutes Clemente Teles shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Luiz Fernando Figueiredo and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Teles in the 47th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Teles in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Porto in the 64th minute of the match. S.C. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Clemente Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fernando Figueiredo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Teles in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Figueiredo saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Frank dos Santos got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Frank dos Santos off the ground. After a rather tough play, S.C. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C. Corinthians Paulista players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ.
