Mădălin Vintilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Camargo having to interfere. The supporters of Fc S.Zaharesti booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Pedro Luiz Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barra EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Pedro Luiz Souto made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Noica. Fc S.Zaharesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Marcel Noica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc S.Zaharesti's Mădălin Vintilescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dito Vander hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Pedro Luiz Souto fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barra EC's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Souto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fc S.Zaharesti booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Barra EC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mădălin Vintilescu made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luiz Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Noica having to interfere. André Luís de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marcel Noica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Vander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Noica came out and tried to block the shot, but Dito Vander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 63rd minute. Marcel Noica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dito Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Marcel Noica made a huge save. Dito Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Noica having to interfere. Marcel Noica came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 81st minute, Ricardo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dito Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Dito Vander came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Barra EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Vander couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Encioiu in the 90th minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 95th minute of the match Pedro Luiz Souto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Luiz Souto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pedro Luiz Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
