Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Ermengol Cabrales started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermengol Cabrales in the 4th minute of the match. Mădălin Vintilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Geraldo Ayaso made a huge save. If Lapurdi Collazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermengol Cabrales in the 13th minute of play. Geraldo Ayaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Tolea in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Ciocoiu to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Noica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Fc S.Zaharesti's Matei Ciocoiu got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Ramón Gayday got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Palle Tazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palle Tazon took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Noica. Marcel Noica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in CD Municipal's zone, Viorel Lelescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Ayaso came out of the goal and Viorel Lelescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half CD Municipal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mădălin Vintilescu made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Lapurdi Collazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Noica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Paletta kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Benino Rial was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Benino Rial hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Lapurdi Collazo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Noica. Lapurdi Collazo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Lapurdi Collazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Marcel Noica managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when CD Municipal's Palle Tazon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Fc S.Zaharesti getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Felix Ghizdeanu hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Palle Tazon made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Noica. Fc S.Zaharesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Petru Popan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded CD Municipal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fc S.Zaharesti.
