The crowd rose to their feet as Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Diego Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rômulo Camargo. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 17 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Souto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Roger de Souza. Roger de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rômulo Camargo was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Diego Perez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diego Perez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Pedro Luiz Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Pedro Luiz Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barra EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luiz Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Perez came free, but Rômulo Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, André Luís de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luís de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Diego Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rômulo Camargo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Pedro Luiz Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Barra EC defense, Roger Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Camargo. The Barra EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Camargo should have stopped the shot. Pedro Luiz Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Barra EC's Rômulo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Perez in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra EC's goalkeeper Rômulo Camargo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97thth minute of the game Diego Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barra EC's Rômulo Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
