Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 105) CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, CD Municipal's Geraldo Ayaso got control of the ball when Alvise Giannetta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amos Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lapurdi Collazo in the 15th minute of the match. Amos Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lapurdi Collazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Lapurdi Collazo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amos Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. AC Milan's Amos Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lapurdi Collazo in the 23rd minute of play. Amos Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermengol Cabrales in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Farese to maneuver through the defense. Amos Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palle Tazon in the 28th minute of play. Ermengol Cabrales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lapurdi Collazo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amos Rosa. Amos Rosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When AC Milan's Donato Napoleoni in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Municipal's goalie prevented a goal. AC Milan's Amos Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palle Tazon in the 43rd minute of play. Lapurdi Collazo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Amos Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Municipal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Giannetta to make the kick off. When Pepe Saron fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Municipal's protests and gave Pepe Saron a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Municipal! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for AC Milan. Flavio Marra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geraldo Ayaso. 1-4. Donato Napoleoni kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Ermengol Cabrales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan's Amos Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Napoleoni's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Napoleoni helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Donato Napoleoni hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amos Rosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lapurdi Collazo got free with Amos Rosa in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84th play minutes Ermengol Cabrales shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Amos Rosa and just under the crossbar into goal. 89 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Lapurdi Collazo came free, but Amos Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Ayaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Pedroni in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over CD Municipal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Milan throughout the match.
