After 8 minutes of play, SC Otten's Mirco Maier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Peres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Peres. Heinrich Langer hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Isaltino Luz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olaf Lübke, 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Reinaldo da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Lübke. SC Otten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Hellmuth Mönch got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Otávio Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Laguna Sunrise FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Pitta couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Reinhold Friedl put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Olaf Lübke, was totally fooled by Laguna Sunrise FC's Otávio Pitta, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Olaf Lübke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
