When Doriva Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. He walked away shaking his head. In the 36th minute of the match Willian Quirino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noe Aballe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Laguna Sunrise FC's Emílio Peres got control of the ball when Jaime Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Jaime Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jaime Moreno made the kick off in the second half. Emílio Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Moreno's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Tiki Taka FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iratze Abar in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Iratze Abar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laguna Sunrise FC's Emílio Peres did a great save. Claudio-Paul Di Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Laguna Sunrise FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Moreno came free, but Emílio Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laguna Sunrise FC's Emílio Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Moreno in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Laguna Sunrise FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Tiki Taka FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
