After some careless play in the Cadáveres Voladores defense, Reinaldo da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Rexino. The Cadáveres Voladores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Rexino should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Otávio Pitta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rolando Rexino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaltino Luz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Emílio Peres made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Isaac Herena sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Luz came free, but Rolando Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Luz in the 19th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Rolando Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Itzaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Emílio Peres made a huge save. In the 38th minute Arnaldo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Estevez to strike the kick off in the second half.
