The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tayyip Murathan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celestino Villamañan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ragıp Sancar in the 8th minute. Gaston Durango took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tayyip Murathan. Tayyip Murathan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, RED KHAGAN's Celestino Villamañan threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aytekin Ciner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tayyip Murathan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Sotomayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to RED KHAGAN getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Yücel Tükelalp hit a great ball. Teodor Froiz struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Tayyip Murathan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablos Rojos. Cordero Sotomayor scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tayyip Murathan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 minutes of play, RED KHAGAN's Abuzer Ergümen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celestino Villamañan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Abuzer Ergümen got free with Celestino Villamañan in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diablos Rojos's Celestino Villamañan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytekin Ciner in the 36th minute of play. Yücel Tükelalp hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Cordero Sotomayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tayyip Murathan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Villamañan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragıp Sancar in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Diablos Rojos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evangelista Larquera was the one to do the kick off. Generosb Solana hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Tayyip Murathan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Sotomayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Xabel Barga charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xabel Barga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. RED KHAGAN made a substitution. Adnan Nedret replaced Ahmet Efe Hitit. The supporters of RED KHAGAN booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabel Barga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xabel Barga kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Tayyip Murathan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Evangelista Larquera sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generosb Solana got free with Tayyip Murathan in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Evangelista Larquera could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Tayyip Murathan however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytekin Ciner in the 79th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Celestino Villamañan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayyip Murathan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generosb Solana in the 84th minute. Tayyip Murathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Sotomayor in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Aytekin Ciner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Villamañan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordero Sotomayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyip Murathan having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's goal looked a bit too open when Generosb Solana came free, but Tayyip Murathan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diablos Rojos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
