After 28 played minutes, Kurdistan CF's Gustav Engström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 麦延威 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kurdistan CF reached it. In the 32nd minute Patrick Österberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 麦延威 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurdistan CF's Melker Söderkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Kurdistan CF from getting a goal against them. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 83rdth minute of the game 柯卫枫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurdistan CF's Melker Söderkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kurdistan CF's Karl-Ove Sandström got a free kick in the 89th minute. 麦延威 made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when John Kämpe sent off a good shot on target.
