With an all-out effort, Flamengo CIMZ's Oscar Errapel threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frédson Couto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patricio Vela kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Couto in the 23rd minute of play forced INTERNACIONAL DE MURAROA's goalkeeper Oscar Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Couto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Oscar Errapel 24 minutes into the match. Oscar Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, INTERNACIONAL DE MURAROA's Oscar Errapel got control of the ball when Cafu Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Frédson Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oscar Errapel. Frédson Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Torres got free with Oscar Errapel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, INTERNACIONAL DE MURAROA's Osvaldo Ostargi got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Noe to make the kick off. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Cássio Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo CIMZ's protests and gave Cássio Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Frédson Couto scored 5-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Errapel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Flamengo CIMZ were the better team. Flamengo CIMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
