In the 20th match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Alfors to maneuver through the defense. Robert Kilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sofiane Charradi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kahraman Kunter came out and tried to block the shot, but Sofiane Charradi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 69th minute. Mehmet Fatih Özakay kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Helge Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kahraman Kunter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helge Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Edvin Lundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Kunter having to interfere. Kahraman Kunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helge Lundqvist in the 88th minute. Ingmar Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaç Dalmaz in the 95th minute of the match. The Lokomotiv Bornova supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's performance. The match ended with a win for Étoile Sportive Du Sahel.
