Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Helge Lundqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felix Stenquist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Kurt Österlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jarl Kalfhage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Lundqvist in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Felix Stenquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vejbystrand's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Stenquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Österlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Nils Käller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand the free kick. Nils Käller hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Vejbystrand's Jaba Stopar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kurt Österlund but with some difficulty. After 24 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Robert Kilberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarl Kalfhage was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarl Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Frisck in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Helge Lundqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Kalfhage. Vejbystrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helge Lundqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Frisck came free, but Jarl Kalfhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Vejbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Edward Åkesson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Algot Forsberg during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute of the match Jim Frisck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarl Kalfhage showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Stenquist to strike the kick off in the second half. Jim Frisck charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Frisck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jim Frisck got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Gösta Hedkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vejbystrand fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 61st minute, Robert Kilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's Felix Stenquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Österlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Vejbystrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. Vejbystrand's attentive Edward Åkesson managed to snatch the ball when Henric Haraldsson made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. After having played for 81 minutes, Felix Stenquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejbystrand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Stenquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrik Alfors hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Felix Stenquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kurt Österlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Lundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Sven-Edvin Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Étoile Sportive Du Sahel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Étoile Sportive Du Sahel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
