Dario Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Nordal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dario Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Stenquist in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Stenquist in the 34th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Dario Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Gösta Hedkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vejbystrand fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 41st minute of the match, Nemesio Raymond tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jarl Kalfhage saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jarl Kalfhage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Ellande. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Stenquist to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Bengt Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cascadia United's Dario Gutierrez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cascadia United from getting a goal against them. Gösta Hedkvist took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Gutierrez. Dario Gutierrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 80 minutes into the match, Adolfo Lauro notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Vejbystrand's Jarl Kalfhage. Jarl Kalfhage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Ellande came free, but Jarl Kalfhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goalkeeper Dario Gutierrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Stenquist. Cascadia United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
